No wonder everyone wants to hold onto being a kid in the US, its the only time you matter to our money loving only overlords and they are marketing everything towards you to make you feel good about it.

Clothing variety is aimed at child and teen sizes and becomes standard designs or highend at adult sizes.
Toys and food items are too.
As you get older less is expected of you financially.

Either you come from a family where you get everything you want and expect more or you have nothing and you are expected to put yourself in debt the moment you have control to catch up to your generation.
You either miss out and they hope you want in or are already addicted by the time you are an adult.
And worst of all they teach you the smart thing to do is to spend money that isn’t yours.

The USA is a child loving society.

That does seem to be the goal. And then make you pay as you get older to keep that feeling alive. Don’t change, stay the same and be rewarded with a treat of buying something you would want as a kid.
